Description:

Responsible for daily testing on marine mammal and aquarium systems, including tests for temperature, salinity, PH, turbidity and chlorine. Weigh minor and trace salts for artificial seawater and add salts as needed. Clean and maintain lab, lab equipment, and life support facilities. Check and monitor chlorine systems at marine mammal areas. Adjust chlorine flow as needed and ensure valves are properly adjusted. Enter data into computer and maintain daily records on rainfall amounts and hypochlorite use. Assist in other Oceanarium areas as needed. Adhere to all park and department policies. Other duties as assigned.
